FAQ
What is your rate?
Individual Sessions: $175/hr
Couples Sessions: $200/hr
I do offer sliding scale, based on legitimate needs; however, only have a few sliding scale spots available.
Do you take insurance?
I currently do not accept insurance, but I can provide monthly superbills that may be submitted to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to see if this option is available to you.
Are sessions in-person or remote?
I offer in-person and Telehealth sessions, as long as you are resident of California.
What’s your cancellation policy?
To avoid being charged the full session fee, I require 24-hours notice for a cancellation.
What is a consultation?
A consultation is a 15-minute introductory phone call where you will provide a brief description of why you’re seeking therapy, we can determine therapeutic goals, I can answer any logistical or lingering questions, and we both decide if working together is the right fit. If you decide it is not a great fit, I am happy to provide some referrals for other clinicians that may align with your needs.
What can I expect from our first session?
Sessions last 50 minutes. Our first session will begin by discussing the limits of confidentiality, setting the framework for our sessions, and reviewing the cancellation policy. The remaining time will be spent getting to know you and what you’d like to work on, and establishing a therapeutic connection.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Everything you share in therapy is kept strictly confidential and will not be released to anyone without your written permission, except in situations required or permitted by law. These exceptions include reporting suspected abuse of a child, elder, or dependent adult, or if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others.
